I was standing on the sidewalk only a couple feet away from her. The cars raced by, blowing frigid gusts of wind our way. The first thing I noticed about her was her hair; it was gorgeous. Long midnight black, it was so thick you'd think you could tie it in a bow.
She stood there in the early morning, hanging her upper half over the railing of the old bridge, staring at the water rushing past jagged rocks below.
